Boucheron was created by Francis Deleamont and Jean-Pierre Bethouart.

The top notes are marigold, orange, tangerine, bitter orange, apricot, asafoetida, basil, cassia, lemon, and bergamot; the middle notes are tuberose, Madagascan ylang-ylang, orange blossom, jasmine, narcissus, geranium, orris root, cedar, broom, and lily-of-the-valley; the base notes are amber, civet, sandalwood, benzoin, Indian vanilla, oakmoss, tonka bean, and musk.
